Great location if you are travelling to York. Friendly staff and very quick responses. Rooms are lovely, very cosy, heating is kept on, bathroom was spotless. Tv is nice and big and has lots of channels to watch. Easy to access when you get there the owner messages you with instructions nice and simple and you have a fob to get in and out any time you need.
Really welcoming host. Stayed for two nights and was easy access to the town. Room was clean with tea, coffee and biscuits etc. Will definitely be visiting again

Booked a room here at very short notice due to my son being in hospital. The host was extremely accommodating and the location was right next to the hospital and also a short walk into the city. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfy. I would recommend.
Great place to stay - very clean and quiet. Separate bathroom put me off at first, but it was just down the hall and only for use of my room. Owner/manager was friendly and gave some great local advice.
A lovely guest house with plenty of privacy and Roger was communicative & helpful on check in. The room was warm, peaceful & quiet - perfect for a last minute stay in York for a job.
